Job Description

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for patrolling all areas of the property and assisting guests with room access. The role involves monitoring security systems such as Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarms, and fire safety systems. The officer conducts daily physical hazard inspections, responds to accidents and emergencies, handles disturbances, and completes incident reports. They maintain confidentiality of security-related information and conduct investigations and interviews as needed. The position requires adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional appearance, and fostering positive working relationships.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or an entire shift.

Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with help.

Strong communication skills to address guests and employees clearly and professionally.

Ability to respond promptly to emergencies and incidents.

Willingness to follow all company policies and procedures.

Basic skills in reading, visually inspecting equipment, and using computers or point of sale systems.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Physical ability to move through various spaces and over different surfaces safely.

Capability to perform fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination tasks.

No related work or supervisory experience is required as this is an entry-level position.
