The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for patrolling all areas of the property and assisting guests with room access. This role involves monitoring security systems such as Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems, responding to emergencies, conducting physical hazard inspections, investigating incidents, and maintaining safety and security throughout the property. The officer handles disturbances, escorts unwelcome persons, prepares reports, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier with assistance.
Skill in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and over varied surfaces including stairs and ramps.
Strong communication skills using clear and professional language.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and reports.
Willingness to follow all company policies and procedures.
Capability to respond quickly to work situations and emergencies.
Ability to conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
Capability to maintain a clean and professional personal appearance and uniform.
