The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for patrolling all areas of the property and assisting guests with room access. The role involves monitoring security systems including Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems. The officer is tasked with conducting physical hazard inspections, responding to emergencies, and assisting guests and employees during such situations. This position also requires handling disturbances, completing incident reports, conducting investigations, and ensuring the safety and security of the property and its occupants.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
No related work experience required.
No supervisory experience required.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.
Capability to handle physical tasks that include bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and reaching overhead and below the knees.
Ability to respond quickly to work situations and move over uneven or slippery surfaces, stairs, or service ramps.
Strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and professionally.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Willingness to follow company policies and procedures and complete necessary training and certifications.
Ability to develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
