Job Description

In this role, the Loss Prevention Supervisor conducts regular patrols, monitors security systems, and assists guests with room access. The position requires a proactive approach to safety and effective communication with both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct key control audits to ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Monitor electronic key boxes and manage the safekeeping of master keys.
  • Patrol the property to deter and detect security breaches.
  • Assist guests with room access and respond to their inquiries.
  • Monitor security systems and report any irregularities.
  • Respond to accidents and assist during emergency situations.
  • Complete incident and activity reports accurately and promptly.
  • Manage safety hazards and escort unwelcome persons from the property.
  • Support loss prevention training and motivate team members.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Ability to conduct security patrols and monitor security systems.

Capability to respond to emergencies including administering first aid or CPR.

Skill in writing and typing clear security and incident reports.

Capacity to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Effective communication skills using clear and professional language.
