The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of guests and property. This role involves monitoring security systems, conducting audits, patrolling the property, responding to emergencies, and assisting with guest access. The supervisor also handles incident documentation, enforces safety protocols, and supports staff training and motivation.
The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for conducting key control audits, monitoring electronic key boxes, issuing and receiving master keys, radios, and beepers to ensure their safekeeping. This role includes patrolling all areas of the property, assisting guests with room access, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to accidents, administering first aid or CPR when necessary, and handling emergency situations. The supervisor also documents incidents, resolves safety hazards, escorts unwelcome persons from the property, and assists in training and motivating staff while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Ability to conduct audits and monitor electronic key systems.
Capability to patrol and monitor property areas effectively.
Knowledge of first aid and CPR or ability to administer when required.
Skills in documenting and reporting security or loss prevention incidents.
Ability to handle emergency situations and coordinate with emergency services.
Capability to maintain confidentiality and follow company policies.
Good communication skills using clear and professional language.
Ability to work collaboratively and support team goals.
Physical ability to stand, sit, walk for long periods, and handle objects up to 50 pounds independently.
