Job Description
The Manager - Civil & Structural engages in planning, organizing, and leading the department's activities, ensuring high-quality outcomes in civil and structural works. The role involves direct supervision of staff and subcontractors, as well as active participation in negotiations and tender activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize daily operations of the Civil & Structural department.
- Lead and manage technical design and engineering activities.
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance to subordinates.
- Review design documents and drawings for client approval.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Supervise on-site activities of subcontractors and staff.
- Assist in negotiations for materials and subcontracting.
- Support tender bidding activities as required.
Job Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with Professional Engineer license (PE).
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in analysis and design of concrete and steel structures.
At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
Relevant experience in Water Treatment Plant Design and Maintenance of Civil & Structural works is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
