This role is a managerial position responsible for leading the Procurement and Contracts Departments. The manager ensures efficient procurement and contract management, adherence to budget, and compliance with relevant standards and company policies.
The Manager of Procurement & Contracts is responsible for overseeing and leading the daily operations of the Procurement and Contracts Departments. This role ensures efficient and compliant procurement and contract management processes including budget adherence, subcontractor payment verification, contract issue advisement, profitability management, subcontractor selection, and compliance with ISO standards and company policies.
Degree in Quantity Surveying is essential.
5 - 10 years of related working experiences with minimum 3 years in managerial role.
Strong knowledge of cost estimation and construction contracts.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to design and improve contract Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Market awareness of water/wastewater industry construction costs is an advantage.
