The Manager, Scheduling is responsible for leading the development and optimization of flight schedules for AirAsia and AirAsia X. This role plays a critical part in balancing economic efficiency with operational feasibility in a fast-paced aviation environment.
Job Description
As a Manager of Scheduling, you will oversee the daily operations of flight schedule management, ensuring accuracy and service delivery while collaborating with various teams. You will lead a dedicated team in the publication of schedules on airasia.com and the Navitaire system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and optimization of flight schedules.
- Manage slot management and budget alignment.
- Oversee the publication of schedules on airasia.com and Navitaire.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize revenue.
- Ensure high standards of accuracy in scheduling.
- Navigate operational changes effectively.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team.
Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in airline planning and scheduling.
At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Expertise in route optimization and complex data analysis.
Technical proficiency in Schedule Manager (New Skies/Navitaire).
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder management.
