Job Description
The Manufacturing Control Systems Engineer at ExxonMobil is responsible for supporting manufacturing sites by providing system development, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of control systems. The role involves working within global teams to support process control systems infrastructure, design computing infrastructure, integrate advanced control applications, and provide above-site sustainment support. The engineer will collaborate with site stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement and technical decision-making.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
Experience with virtualization, networking, Windows servers, operating systems, Active Directory, domain controllers, and automation scripting such as PowerShell.
Experience with software configuration, integration, testing, and technical documentation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers.
Troubleshooting, innovative, and analytical thinking skills.
Intellectual rigor, strong drive, and desire to lead change.
Ability to work in a multicultural global team across different time zones.
Understanding of operational aspects such as high availability, monitoring, security, and robustness.
Experience supporting Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
