Job Description
In this role, the Mechanic will engage in daily tasks that include conducting inspections, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment in a collaborative team environment. The position requires adherence to safety guidelines and quality management standards while utilizing diagnostic tools and technical publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the Individual Learning Plan (TCDP Level 1) through Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Web-Based Training (WBT).
- Perform preventive maintenance on Caterpillar and SDI-supported equipment.
- Conduct component removal and installation tasks according to procedures and safety guidelines.
- Execute Technical Analysis Level 1 (TA1) using diagnostic tools.
- Perform walk-around and CAT Inspect app inspections.
- Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance to ensure equipment functionality.
- Complete service documentation accurately for traceability and reporting.
Job Requirements
Ability to complete required training including Instructor-Led and Web-Based Training.
Experience in performing preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs on relevant equipment.
Knowledge of safety guidelines during component removal and installation.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for technical analysis.
Familiarity with service publications for technical guidance.
Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
