
The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing mechanical and air conditioning maintenance operations. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring optimal service delivery standards and achieving profit targets for stakeholders and customers at Taylor's University.
The Mechanical Supervisor coordinates and works with the team on mechanical and air conditioning maintenance related to day-to-day operations, including ad hoc special projects. The role focuses on achieving profit targets and optimizing service delivery standards for stakeholders and customers, with an emphasis on maintenance, routine schedules, and overall facilities support at Taylor's University.
Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate mechanical and air conditioning maintenance activities. - Optimize service delivery standards for stakeholders and customers. - Implement routine maintenance schedules for facilities. - Conduct quality control checks on maintenance work. - Troubleshoot and determine root causes of mechanical issues. - Collaborate with team members on special projects. - Ensure compliance with Engineering Standards.
Diploma in Electro/Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering certification.
Related qualification in Facilities Management and Energy Management is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in building general maintenance works.
Experience in the services industry such as hospitality, education, leisure, healthcare, and banking.
Competent command in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
