The Mgr-Events I is responsible for the seamless execution of events at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu. This role involves planning, coordinating logistics, and leading a team to deliver high-quality event experiences that align with the brand's creative and elegant standards.
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of event planning and execution, ensuring that all aspects of the events are meticulously managed. You will work in a dynamic environment that requires strong leadership and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: - Plan and coordinate all logistics for events. - Lead and manage a team to ensure high-quality service delivery. - Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary resources. - Monitor event budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. - Gather feedback from guests to improve future events. - Maintain a high standard of organization and attention to detail.
Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning or hotel operations.
Strong leadership capabilities and team management skills.
