Role Summary
The NDE & Inspection Specialist is responsible for providing technical leadership in non-destructive evaluation across global facilities and capital projects. This role involves reviewing NDE procedures, auditing service providers, and implementing mechanical integrity programs to ensure safety and compliance in the oil and gas industry.
Job Description
As an NDE & Inspection Specialist, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve leading advanced NDE execution and interpreting complex inspection results. You will work in a dynamic environment, supporting failure investigations and driving the deployment of new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review NDE procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Audit service providers to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Implement mechanical integrity programs across various projects.
- Lead advanced NDE execution for critical assets.
- Interpret complex inspection results and provide actionable insights.
- Support failure investigations to determine root causes.
- Drive the deployment of new technologies in NDE practices.
- Represent the company in industry-wide technical initiatives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
5 to 10+ years of advanced NDE and inspection experience in the oil & gas industry.
Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards including API, ASME, ISO, ASNT, and AWS.
Demonstrated experience in basic and advanced NDE for pressure vessels, piping, and pipelines.
Proficiency in PAUT, TOFD, and In-Line Inspection (ILI) technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to travel and support global sites and facilities.
