
The Offsites and Utilities Engineer is responsible for developing capital projects and providing operational support at oil and gas or petrochemical sites. This role involves working with various utilities and offsite systems to enhance business value through improvement activities and project support in a collaborative environment.
As an Offsites and Utilities Engineer, you will engage in day-to-day activities that include troubleshooting operational issues and supporting capital projects. You will work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop capital projects for utilities and offsites. - Provide operational support for steam generation and distribution systems. - Manage water supply and treatment processes. - Oversee fuel systems and compressed air operations. - Ensure effective power generation management. - Contribute to improvement activities and operational troubleshooting. - Collaborate with multi-cultural teams to achieve project goals.
A bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering specialty.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in offsites systems or utilities, preferably in a manufacturing site.
Demonstrated design experience.
Hands-on experience with process simulation and hydraulic tools such as AFT, Pipenet, EPANET, or Hysys.
Knowledge of industry codes and standards such as API 650, 653, and 2000 for tankage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
