Job Description
As an Offsites and Utilities Engineer, you will develop capital projects and provide operating support at oil and gas or petrochemical sites. This role involves work with utilities such as steam generation and distribution, water supply and treatment, fuel systems, compressed air, and power generation, as well as offsites including tankage, pipelines, product movements, and flares. You will contribute to business value through improvement activities, operational troubleshooting, and project support in a collaborative and innovative environment. The position is based in Kuala Lumpur.
Job Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering specialty and/or relevant industry experience.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in offsites systems or utilities, preferably in a manufacturing site.
Demonstrated design experience.
Hands-on experience with process simulation and hydraulic tools such as AFT, Pipenet, EPANET, or Hysys.
Knowledge of industry codes and standards such as API 650, 653, and 2000 for tankage.
Willingness and ability to travel as required including internationally.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a multi-cultural global team.
