Job Description

The Part Time Lecturer will engage in various teaching and related duties, including designing and developing teaching materials, conducting classes, and providing student consultations. The role requires maintaining high standards of teaching and effective learning in line with the University's expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and prepare teaching materials for clinical psychology courses.
  • Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for students.
  • Provide student consultations and support for academic success.
  • Participate in invigilation, marking, and assessment of student work.
  • Attend departmental meetings and contribute to administrative responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with committees and working groups within the department, school, and faculty.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and learning in accordance with university guidelines.

Job Requirements

Possess a minimum Master of Clinical Psychology from a recognized university.

Preferably a PhD holder in Psychology/Clinical Psychology or relevant fields.

Registered Clinical Psychologist under the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council.

Experience in supervising students for clinical practicum and/or research.

Experience working in a higher education environment with a track record of teaching experience.
