Role Summary
This position is for a Part Time Lecturer in Early Childhood Education. The role involves teaching in a flexible environment and requires at least a Master's degree, with preference given to PhD candidates.
Job Description
This role involves undertaking teaching and teaching-related duties such as designing, preparing, and developing teaching materials; conducting classes, lectures, tutorials, and practicals; student consultation; invigilation; marking and assessment. The lecturer is expected to establish and maintain high standards of teaching and effective learning in line with the University's expectations. The position also includes undertaking administrative responsibilities like attending departmental meetings and participating in committees and working groups within the Department, School, and Faculty.
Job Requirements
Candidate must have minimum Masters in Early Childhood Education. PhD candidates are preferred.
Experience working in higher education environment and a track record of teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development or good record of professional experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and a high quality of presentation skills.
Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies in the facilitation of teaching and learning.
