This role is for a Part Time Lecturer in Interior Design responsible for teaching and related academic duties. The position involves delivering lectures, preparing teaching materials, assessing students, and participating in administrative tasks within the department and faculty.
The Part Time Lecturer - Interior Design is responsible for teaching and related duties such as designing, preparing, and developing teaching materials. The role includes conducting classes, lectures, tutorials, and practicals, as well as consultation with students, invigilation, marking, and assessment. Additionally, the lecturer is expected to establish and maintain high standards of teaching and effective learning to meet the University's expectations. The position also involves administrative duties such as attending departmental meetings and participating in committees and working groups within the Department, School, and Faculty.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree in Interior Design and be registered with LAM or possess a LAM Part II. A Master Degree is preferred.
Experience working in a higher education environment with a track record of teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development or a good record of professional experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and high-quality presentation skills.
Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies in the facilitation of teaching and learning.
