The Part Time Lecturer - Law (Foundation) is responsible for undertaking teaching and teaching-related duties, including the design, preparation, and development of teaching materials. This role involves conducting classes, lectures, tutorials, and practicals, as well as student consultation, invigilation, marking, and assessment. The lecturer is expected to establish and maintain high standards of teaching and effective learning in line with the College's expectations. Additionally, the role includes participation in administrative activities related to teaching, learning, and examination matters. The lecturer will also contribute to student enrichment activities and serve on school committees as required.
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law or relevant field from a recognised University.
Applicants with a Master’s degree are preferred.
Experience working in the higher education environment with a track record of teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development is required.
A good record of professional experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and high quality of presentation skills is expected.
Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including effective use of IT technologies in teaching and learning facilitation, is required.
Ability to use software blended in teaching is preferred.
