Role Summary
The Plant Operations Material Handling Operator is responsible for ensuring the efficient handling and management of materials within the CST Tire manufacturing plant. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining operational flow and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Description
As a Material Handling Operator, you will be an integral part of the CST Tire manufacturing plant's operations in Petaling Jaya. Your primary duties include unloading incoming goods, conducting physical inspections, and managing raw material storage according to SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming goods and conduct physical inspections.
- Manage raw material storage in compliance with SOPs.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Ensure timely issuance of materials to production using barcode scanners and SAP systems.
- Maintain 5S standards in the work area.
- Support administrative tasks such as clerical filing.
- Participate in cycle counts and yearly stock taking to ensure inventory accuracy.
Job Requirements
Minimum SPM level certificate or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of industrial forklift driving experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
Basic computer literacy for administrative and SAP tasks.
Minimum literacy in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Ability to follow SOP guidelines and safety protocols (OHSAS 18001).
Commitment to maintaining 5S standards and supporting stock-taking activities.
