Plant Operations Material Handling Operator

The Plant Operations Material Handling Operator is responsible for ensuring the efficient handling and management of raw materials within the manufacturing plant. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining production flow and adhering to safety and quality standards in the warehouse environment.

As a Material Handling Operator, you will be an integral part of the CST Tire manufacturing plant’s operations at the Raw Material Storage Warehouse. You will be responsible for unloading incoming goods, conducting physical inspections, and ensuring the timely issuance of raw materials to production using barcode scanners and SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain forklifts to handle raw materials.
• Unload incoming goods and conduct physical inspections for quality assurance.
• Issue raw materials to production in a timely manner using barcode scanners.
• Manage inventory through weekly cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to strict safety and 5S guidelines to maintain warehouse efficiency.
• Support clerical duties and administrative filing as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize material handling processes.
