Job Description
The Polymers Process Engineer role is based at the Kuala Lumpur Technology Center, focusing on advancing tools for global ExxonMobil polymer sites. The position involves collaborating with various teams to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process engineering improvement initiatives for Polyolefins, Butyl, and Elastomer processes.
- Support manufacturing asset improvements to enhance process efficiency.
- Contribute to process modeling and simulation efforts.
- Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities within existing process conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Exhibit innovative and analytical thinking to solve complex problems.
- Manage workload efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Job Requirements
Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering.
Have a minimum of five years' experience in Polyolefins, Butyl, or Elastomers processes.
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural global team environment.
Possess intellectual rigor and a strong drive to improve processes.
