
The Primary Homeroom Teacher is responsible for creating positive and inclusive learning environments that motivate and challenge all children to become self-regulated learners. This role involves collaborative planning and teaching to provide a transdisciplinary approach to learning while ensuring the wellbeing of learners.
As a Primary Homeroom Teacher, you will engage in inquiry-based teaching strategies within a supportive team environment. Your day-to-day work will involve fostering a dynamic classroom atmosphere that encourages student empowerment and active participation.
Key Responsibilities:
A relevant degree plus teaching qualification or equivalent.
Higher degree or recognized professional qualification is preferred.
Evidence of continued relevant professional development.
Experience working with bilingual and multilingual learners and learners with diverse needs.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in an international school environment where the school curriculum focused on PYP is preferred.
