This role is for a Primary Homeroom Teacher at Nexus International School. The teacher will use inquiry-based strategies to create inclusive learning environments and collaborate with a team to support student wellbeing and learning. Experience in an international school environment and working with diverse learners is preferred.
A Primary Homeroom Teacher is an informed and reflective practitioner who uses inquiry-based teaching strategies to create positive and inclusive learning environments that motivate and challenge all children to become self-regulated learners who are empowered to take action. This role involves responsibility for the wellbeing of learners and requires collaborative planning and teaching with a team to provide a transdisciplinary approach to learning.
A relevant degree plus teaching qualification or equivalent.
Higher degree or recognised professional qualification is preferred.
Evidence of continued relevant professional development.
Experience working with bilingual and multilingual learners and learners with diverse needs.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in an international school environment where the school curriculum focused on PYP is preferred.
