
The Principal Legal Analyst is responsible for providing industry-leading analysis on regulatory and contractual issues in the Asia-Pacific upstream sector. This role involves high-level client engagement and collaboration globally to assess the impact of energy transition policies on the traditional oil and gas landscape.
The Principal Legal Analyst will join the E&P Terms and Above-Ground Risk team, focusing on research and analysis of complex legal, commercial, and economic developments. The position requires monitoring fiscal changes and maintaining risk scores to guide investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law is essential.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the upstream oil and gas sector in Asia.
Proven experience in producing high-quality research.
Excellent writing and presentation skills in English.
Strong critical thinking abilities.
Proficiency with MS applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with energy transition trends.
