The Procurement Executive is responsible for managing procurement activities including printing and organizing documents, summarizing and distributing information, and maintaining records. The role involves adherence to food safety and handling policies, conducting inventory audits, monitoring stock levels, resolving vendor delivery issues, verifying and tracking inventory, and supporting management with training and employee relations. The position requires ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards, maintaining positive workplace relationships, and performing physical tasks related to inventory handling and movement of goods.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
At least 2 years of related work experience.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of company safety programs and regulations.
Capability to calculate figures for inventories, orders, and costs.
Skills in conducting inventory audits and monitoring stock levels.
Competence in troubleshooting vendor delivery issues and overseeing return processes.
Ability to verify and track received inventory and reconcile shipping invoices.
Physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Strong communication skills to speak clearly and professionally and to prepare accurate written documents.
Capacity to develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
Willingness to adhere to company policies, procedures, and maintain confidentiality.
