Role Summary
The Product Executive is responsible for managing regulatory matters for food, supplements, and non-food products. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring compliance with various regulatory authorities and maintaining product quality standards.
Job Description
In this position, the Product Executive will engage in daily tasks that involve product classification, registration, and compliance with regulatory frameworks. The work environment is dynamic, requiring collaboration with various departments and external agencies to ensure product integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage product classification and registration processes.
- Ensure compliance with NPRA, BKKM, LIU, KPDN, and JAKIM regulations.
- Act as the Halal Executive to uphold the Halal Assurance Management System.
- Handle trademark registration and renewals for company products.
- Support audits and conduct product checks for quality assurance.
- Manage retention samples for quality control purposes.
- Liaise with regional offices and forwarding agents for product distribution.
- Provide regulatory and quality support to the product team.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or a related field.
2 years of experience in regulatory affairs, product compliance, or quality assurance (preferably in FMCG, food or cosmetics industry).
Good understanding of BKKM, NPRA, Halal, ISO, and other local regulatory frameworks.
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organization skills.
Good communication and coordination ability across departments and external agencies.
