The Product Executive is responsible for managing regulatory compliance for food, supplements, and non-food products, including classification, registration, labeling, and certifications under various relevant authorities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with halal standards, managing trademark registrations, supporting audits, and providing regulatory and quality support to the product team.
The Product Executive is responsible for managing regulatory matters for food, supplements, and non-food products. This includes product classification, registration, labelling, certifications, and approvals under relevant authorities such as NPRA, BKKM, LIU, KPDN, and JAKIM. They also act as the Halal Executive ensuring compliance with the Halal Assurance Management System and handle trademark registration and renewals for company products. The role involves supporting audits, conducting product checks, managing retention samples for quality control, liaising with regional offices and forwarding agents, and providing regulatory and quality support to the product team.
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or a related field.
2 years of experience in regulatory affairs, product compliance, or quality assurance (preferably in FMCG, food or cosmetics industry).
Good understanding of BKKM, NPRA, Halal, ISO, and other local regulatory frameworks.
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organization skills.
Good communication and coordination ability across departments and external agencies.
Independent, responsible, and able to manage multiple projects within tight timelines.
