The Product Manager role involves acting as a liaison between vendors and the organization to provide consultative services and manage vendor programs. The position requires reviewing and negotiating contracts, maintaining vendor relationships, monitoring performance, and resolving issues with invoices and contracts. This role requires independent work on moderate to complex projects with general supervision and proficiency in relevant tools and procedures.
The role involves acting as a liaison between vendors and the organization, providing specialized consultative services, and implementing, driving, and maintaining vendor programs, marketing, and training. The individual reviews and negotiates vendor contracts, communicates with vendors on day-to-day matters, builds and maintains positive vendor relationships, monitors vendor performance, and resolves invoice and contractual discrepancies. The position may or may not include participation in sales commission plans. The individual is an established and productive professional who works independently under general supervision on moderate to complex projects. They use company policies and procedures to resolve various issues, exercise judgment within defined practices, and receive moderate guidance with work reviewed for soundness and accuracy. Proficiency with various tools, systems, and procedures is required, with occasional consultation with senior staff. A four-year college degree or equivalent experience and at least three years of functional experience including a minimum of one year of position-specific experience are expected.

Experience in building and maintaining positive vendor relationships and monitoring vendor performance.
Ability to research invoice and contractual issues and resolve discrepancies.
