Job Description

The role involves working closely with stakeholders at AirAsia to conceptualize, define, design, develop, and deliver product backlogs that provide device, channel, and medium-independent experiences for customers in areas such as booking, check-in, chatbot, payments, ancillaries, and communications. The position requires collaborating with the software engineering team from idea conceptualization to production, providing vision and direction to Agile development teams, ensuring groomed backlogs, planning and prioritizing product features, defining product vision and roadmap, and leading product release plans. The role also includes market research, competitor analysis, and staying updated on Agile/Scrum practices and industry trends.

Job Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field with overall 5+ years of experience including a minimum of 2 years in a Product Management role, preferably in E-Commerce, with prior experience in Software Engineering.

Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Experience managing high traffic E-Commerce sites with 500k+ visitors per day.

Good understanding of APIs and Microservices, Data Science, UI/UX, and Javascript and/or Python.

Good understanding of cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud, including app engine, pub/sub, cloud storage, monitoring, and big query.

In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles.

Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Prior experience working in the Travel domain is a big plus.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.

Creative thinker with a vision.
