Job Description
The Professor will engage in daily teaching activities, including designing course materials, conducting classes, and mentoring students. The role also involves participating in curriculum development and scholarly research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare teaching materials for courses.
- Conduct classes and tutorials to facilitate student learning.
- Consult with students to provide academic support and guidance.
- Participate in program and curriculum development activities.
- Engage in scholarly research and secure research grants.
- Undertake administrative responsibilities, including attending meetings.
- Establish linkages with external organizations for collaboration.
Job Requirements
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in Artificial Intelligence or Computer Science related fields.
Have at least eight years of experience in teaching, research, or industry.
Have a strong publication record with at least 10-15 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Have secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM300,000-RM600,000 cumulatively.
Have graduated at least 3 PhD students.
Have a Scopus h-index of minimum 16.
Have experience working in a higher education environment including teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development.
