Job Description
The Professor - Cybersecurity engages in daily teaching activities, including designing course materials, conducting lectures, and facilitating practical sessions. The position also involves collaboration on curriculum development and supporting postgraduate research efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare teaching materials for courses.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for students.
- Contribute to curriculum development and teaching strategies.
- Support postgraduate research and maintain high teaching standards.
- Participate in scholarly research activities and publish findings.
- Present research at conferences and secure research grants.
- Undertake administrative duties and participate in academic committees.
Job Requirements
Possess a PhD from a recognized university in Cybersecurity or Computer Science related fields.
At least eight (8) years of experience in teaching, research, or industry.
Strong publication record with 10-15 publications in C.I. journals in the last 5 years.
Secured research grants as a Principal Investigator worth RM300,000-RM600,000.
Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials.
