The position also requires leading scholarly activities such as research projects, publishing in high-impact journals, presenting at international conferences, securing external research grants, and mentoring colleagues in research capacity development. Additionally, the role includes contributing to departmental and university administration, participating in governance activities, engaging in continuous professional development, and establishing collaborations with external organisations and industry partners.
