
The Professor in Electrical & Electronic Engineering is responsible for providing academic leadership in teaching and learning. This role significantly impacts the development of innovative curricula and the enhancement of pedagogical practices within the university environment.
The Professor will engage in day-to-day activities that include designing, preparing, and delivering high-quality teaching materials while mentoring colleagues and postgraduate students. The role also involves leading research initiatives and contributing to the academic community through various scholarly activities.
Key Responsibilities:
PhD in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognised university.
Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in teaching, research, and/or industry practice.
Strong publication record with 10–15 indexed journal publications (ISI / Scopus Q1 and Q2) within the last five (5) years.
Proven ability to secure external research grants as Principal Investigator.
Scopus h-index of at least 16.
Successfully supervised and graduated at least three (3) PhD students by Research.
Possession of at least one (1) approved patent, invention, or copyright.
