Job Description

The Professor of International Relations engages in daily teaching activities, including designing and developing teaching materials, conducting lectures, and providing student consultations. The role also involves participation in scholarly research and administrative duties within a collaborative academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop teaching materials for International Relations courses.
  • Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for students.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to programme and curriculum development initiatives.
  • Participate in scholarly research activities and publish findings.
  • Secure research grants and achieve targeted research outcomes.
  • Attend meetings and participate in academic committees.
  • Engage in professional development and establish external academic linkages.

Job Requirements

Possess a PhD from a recognised university in International Relations related fields.

Have at least eight (8) years of experience in teaching, research, or industry.

Possess a strong publication record with at least 15-20 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.

Have secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM150,000-RM200,000 cumulatively.

Have graduated at least 4 PhD students.
