
The Professor - Media & Communication is responsible for teaching and curriculum development in the field of Media and Communication. This role significantly impacts the academic environment by enhancing student learning and contributing to scholarly research activities.
The Professor of Media & Communication engages in daily teaching activities, curriculum design, and student assessment within a collaborative academic setting. The role also involves active participation in research and administrative duties to foster academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a doctoral degree in Media and Communication or relevant fields from a recognized university.
At least eight years of relevant teaching or industry experience.
Proven track record of graduating at least 3 PhD students.
Published a minimum of 10 papers in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Secured research grants as a Principal Investigator worth at least RM150,000 - RM200,000.
Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials.
Strong presentation skills and experience in coaching and mentoring.
