
The Professor - Psychology is responsible for delivering high-quality education and conducting scholarly research in the field of psychology. This role significantly impacts student learning and contributes to the academic reputation of the university through teaching, research, and professional engagement.
The Professor will undertake teaching and related duties, including designing and preparing teaching materials, conducting classes, and consulting with students. The role also involves participating in curriculum development and supporting postgraduate research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in Psychology.
At least eight (8) years of experience in teaching, research, or industry.
Strong publication record with at least 10 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Experience in securing research grants as a Principal Investigator worth RM150,000-RM200,000 (cumulative).
Minimum h-index of 10.
Experience in higher education and curriculum development.
Proven track record of coaching and mentoring students.
