Job Description

The Professor will undertake teaching and related duties, including designing and preparing teaching materials, conducting classes, and consulting with students. The role also involves participating in curriculum development and supporting postgraduate research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and prepare teaching materials for psychology courses.
  • Conduct classes, tutorials, and practical sessions for students.
  • Consult with students to enhance their learning experience.
  • Participate in curriculum development to optimize educational outcomes.
  • Support postgraduate research projects and supervise students.
  • Engage in scholarly research activities and publish findings in academic journals.
  • Present research at conferences and secure research grants.
  • Fulfill administrative responsibilities and participate in professional activities.

Job Requirements

Possess a PhD from a recognised university in Psychology.

At least eight (8) years of experience in teaching, research, or industry.

Strong publication record with at least 10 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.

Experience in securing research grants as a Principal Investigator worth RM150,000-RM200,000 (cumulative).

Minimum h-index of 10.

Experience in higher education and curriculum development.

Proven track record of coaching and mentoring students.
