
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement process to ensure efficient ordering, receiving, and distribution of items. This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality standards and profitability while collaborating with various departments within the organization.
In this role, the Purchasing Manager will engage in daily operations that include managing purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining inventory controls. The position requires collaboration with kitchen staff, vendors, and management to support financial goals and administrative tasks related to purchasing.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or a minimum of 2 years' experience in Purchasing or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead and influence others.
Ability to manage work, projects, policies, and standards related to purchasing across departments.
Competence in using computer programs for purchasing and accounting tasks.
Understanding of accounting and budgeting policies relevant to purchasing.
Ability to comply with laws, regulations, and standards related to operations.
