The Regional Assistant Manager, Supply Chain - Procurement & Sourcing is responsible for supporting the Regional Procurement & Sourcing Manager in managing supplier relationships and coordinating sourcing activities across markets. This role plays a crucial part in optimizing costs and ensuring compliance with food safety standards while maintaining supplier relationships.
Job Description
In this role, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of procurement and sourcing, working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on enhancing supply chain efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Regional Procurement & Sourcing Manager in managing supplier relationships.
- Coordinate sourcing activities across various markets.
- Optimize costs through effective supplier negotiations.
- Ensure supplier compliance with food safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to procurement activities.
- Monitor and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Analyze supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
Job Requirements
MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
At least 5 - 10 years of experience in supply chain management.
Certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or Six Sigma.
Strong experience in end-to-end supply chain functions.
Proven track record of operational improvements and cost savings.
Deep understanding of regional supply chain dynamics.
