Role Summary
The Regional Senior Executive, Quality Assurance, Food Category is responsible for managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product integrity and driving innovation within the food category.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in daily interactions with suppliers and conduct audits to uphold quality assurance standards. You will also collaborate with various teams to enhance product offerings and ensure safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct audits to evaluate compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assess supplier performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Perform product safety reviews to identify potential risks.
- Collaborate with product development teams on innovation initiatives.
- Prepare detailed reports on supplier performance metrics.
- Implement corrective actions based on audit findings.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, Engineering or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Food Safety.
Knowledge of HACCP and GFSI standards.
Fluent in English, Malay, and Chinese.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Willingness to travel.
