The role involves leading the ideation and development of new beverage concepts by analyzing market trends, consumer insights, and internal initiatives. It requires conducting market research, consumer surveys, and sensory evaluations to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation. The position also entails creating and enhancing beverage menus, experimenting with ingredients and techniques, maintaining product SOPs, and documenting intellectual property. Additionally, the role includes optimizing product lifecycle through growth, maintenance, and minimizing phases; managing supplier and vendor relationships; collaborating with quality assurance to ensure compliance and product standards; conducting sensory evaluations; and working cross-functionally with teams such as Go-to-Market, Supply Chain, QA, Marketing, Operations, and Halal to support product launch and overall feasibility assessment.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food or beverage product development, culinary innovation, or related roles within the F&B industry.
A passion for food or beverage innovation, with a keen understanding of flavor profiles, ingredients, functionality, and techniques.
Knowledge of food science principles, food safety regulations, and quality assurance standards.
Proven track record of successfully managing innovation projects from concept to commercialization, including experience with cross-functional collaboration and project management tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas, influence stakeholders, and build consensus across teams.
Creative thinker with a curiosity for exploring new ingredients, techniques, and food trends.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
