Role Summary
The Reliability Engineer for Asia Pacific (China) is responsible for providing strategic, technical, and cross-functional leadership in reliability engineering. This role impacts the lifecycle of projects and assets by enhancing the reliability and performance of lubricants assets in the China market while collaborating with global experts.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve maintenance optimization and asset management, working closely with a team of engineers and experts. You will also support technology development initiatives aimed at improving reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership in reliability engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with global experts to implement cutting-edge reliability solutions.
- Optimize maintenance processes to enhance asset performance.
- Analyze large engineering data sets to inform decision-making.
- Support technology development for lubricants assets in the China market.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers in reliability practices.
- Participate in major turnarounds or shutdowns to ensure operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or related disciplines.
Minimum 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in refinery, petrochemical, or upstream oil and gas facilities.
Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
Experience with Maintenance Management Systems such as SAP.
Strong analytical skills to interpret large data sets.
