Job Description

As a Reservations Manager at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu, you will lead the reservations sales team to maximize revenue and drive customer loyalty. You will be responsible for soliciting new business, monitoring market trends, and managing daily sales operations, including contract negotiations and rooming lists. This role involves overseeing staff training, creating labor schedules, and ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently met.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or a 2-year degree in Business, Marketing, or Hotel Management.

At least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services, or front desk operations.

Strong negotiating skills and the ability to use creative selling techniques.

Deep understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, and supply/demand dynamics.

Proficiency in managing staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.

Excellent communication skills and ability to handle guest complaints.
