The Rooms Controller is responsible for assigning rooms based on guest requests and preferences, pre-registering designated guests, and preparing key packets. This role involves organizing and coordinating check-in and pre-registration procedures for arriving groups, confirming reservations and cancellations, reviewing room statuses daily, verifying billing, and processing all guest check-ins and check-outs. The Rooms Controller also handles communication among staff and guests, ensures compliance with company policies, and supports team goals while maintaining professional demeanor and appearance.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Ability to perform duties including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
Capability to enter and locate information using computers and POS systems.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Strong communication skills with professional language usage.
Ability to handle guest requests and service needs effectively.
Willingness to comply with company policies and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and support team goals.
