The Rooms Controller is responsible for assigning rooms according to guest requests and preferences, pre-registering designated guests, and preparing key packets. The role includes organizing and coordinating check-in and pre-registration procedures for groups, managing room requests and changes, confirming reservations and cancellations, reviewing out-of-order rooms, verifying billing, and ensuring secure payment. The position requires following company policies, maintaining professional appearance, assisting guests, and coordinating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Less than 1-year related work experience.

No supervisory experience.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Basic knowledge of computer and point-of-sale systems.

Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures.
