The Sales Executive (NE) handles customer inquiries and lead requests for locally driven groups within predefined group sales parameters. This role involves working with customers to align preferences, actively up-selling business opportunities to maximize revenues, and ensuring timely and proper turnover for quality service delivery. The position requires collaboration with various sales channels and on-property teams to coordinate sales efforts and achieve revenue and booking goals.
High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area, or a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Experience in group sales is preferred.
Ability to handle customer inquiries and lead requests within defined sales parameters.
Capability to work collaboratively with sales channels and on-property teams.
Strong knowledge of resort amenities and destination selling.
Understanding of market conditions, competitors, and economic trends.
Skill in processing business correspondence and creating contracts.
Ability to drive customer loyalty through excellent service.
Effective communication and relationship-building with customers and internal stakeholders.
