The position requires collaboration with sales channels, developing relationships with customers and community, managing sales calls and contracts, and understanding market trends to maximize revenue.
A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or related professional area; OR a 4-year bachelor's degree in these fields with 1 year of experience.
Ability to work collaboratively with off-property sales channels to coordinate sales efforts.
Skills to build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers.
Experience managing and developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Capability to participate in sales calls to acquire and close new business.
Knowledge to execute operational aspects of booked business including proposal generation and contract writing.
Understanding of the market including competitors, economic trends, and supply and demand.
Ability to close sales opportunities based on market conditions and location needs.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and driving customer loyalty.
Experience interacting with guests to obtain feedback and set a positive example for guest relations.
