The Sales Manager, Proactive at Sheraton Johor Bahru engages in daily activities focused on identifying and securing group and catering business opportunities. This position requires a dynamic approach to sales and customer service, ensuring that all client interactions are handled with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively solicit and manage group and catering-related business opportunities.
  • Maximize revenue by up-selling business opportunities.
  • Achieve personal and team revenue goals.
  • Ensure proper and timely business turnover for service delivery.
  • Drive customer loyalty by delivering excellent service throughout each customer experience.
  • Identify new group/catering business opportunities to achieve revenue goals.
  • Monitor same day selling procedures to maximize revenue and control occupancy.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area, OR a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with no work experience required.

Ability to identify new group/catering business opportunities.

Experience in responding to group/catering sales inquiries outside the Event Booking Center's scope.

Proficiency in using sales resources and administrative support effectively.

Capability to execute operational aspects.
