Job Description

The Section Leader is responsible for operating and monitoring washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of laundered items. This role includes inspecting stained or damaged articles for appropriate treatment, maintaining accurate laundry records, and adhering to safety and quality standards. The Section Leader supports team goals, maintains professional appearance and conduct, and may perform various physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and moving objects within the work environment.

Job Requirements

Ability to follow company safety and security policies and procedures.

Capability to maintain accurate records of items laundered.

Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during work shifts.

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Willingness to work in varying physical conditions, including reaching overhead and below knees, and moving through narrow or uneven spaces.

Capability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.

Good communication skills to listen and respond appropriately to concerns.

Ability to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Maintenance of confidentiality of proprietary information and protection of company assets.
