Role Summary
The Security Consultant is responsible for ensuring compliance of mobile applications with technology security standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves applying expertise in security testing across various platforms to enhance the security posture of the organization.
Job Description
In this role, the Security Consultant will engage in daily activities that include compliance testing, secure code reviews, and penetration testing of mobile, web, and backend applications. The work environment is dynamic, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop security tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform compliance testing of mobile applications according to security standards.
- Conduct secure code reviews for iOS and Android applications.
- Analyze security mechanisms using reverse engineering tools.
- Execute penetration testing across mobile, web, and backend applications.
- Develop tools such as BURP extensions for enhanced security testing.
- Collaborate with teams to implement industry methodologies for security testing.
- Present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on penetration testing or relevant offensive security experience.
CREST CRT certification mandatory.
Additional certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, OSEE, OSWE, Red Teaming, Cloud Security, or AI security credentials are advantageous.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
