Role Summary
The Senior Accountant (GL & Reporting) is responsible for overseeing the overall management of the school's accounting and financial operations. This role collaborates closely with the School Principal, President, and Management team to ensure effective financial governance and reporting.
Job Description
In this role, the Senior Accountant will engage in daily financial management activities, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. The position requires a proactive approach to financial planning and resource allocation, contributing to the school's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Plan and allocate financial resources effectively.
- Maintain accountability and control over financial operations.
- Produce accurate financial and management reports.
- Collaborate with the management team to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Job Requirements
Possess a Degree in Accountancy or Professional Accounting qualifications in ACCA, CIMA or its equivalent.
At least eight (8) years of relevant working experience.
Working experience in the education industry is preferred.
External Audit experience will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana will be an added advantage.
