Job Description
This Senior Associate role in the Tax line of service at PwC focuses on providing advice and guidance on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. The role emphasizes leveraging data analytics and technology to develop quantitative tax solutions that optimize tax processes and enhance client decision-making. The incumbent will participate in systems design, implementation, and documentation, collaborate with various teams, communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels, provide L2/L3 support to end-users, and guide junior staff. The role involves continuous learning and applying new technologies, contributing to project planning and execution, and helping clients improve their customer relationship management processes and technology investments.
Job Requirements
Recognised University Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline.
2-4 years of working experience in a relevant field.
Hands on experience in C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC and/or JavaScript in a multi-tiered architecture and object-oriented development environment.
Proficiency in SQL, relational databases; experience with version control tools such as Azure DevOps and/or Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of RESTful web services and consuming data from APIs.
Experience working in an environment that applies the Scrum framework is advantageous.
Ability to write unit and integration tests is advantageous.
Frontend development experience with UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Blazor is advantageous.
Familiarity with microservices, Docker containers, and/or Kubernetes is advantageous.
Experience with Microsoft Azure is advantageous.
Experience in development of solutions using Python is advantageous.
Experience in development of solutions that incorporate elements of GenAI or Machine Learning is advantageous.
Project management, communication, and analytical skills are advantageous.
Team player with good interpersonal and problem-solving abilities is advantageous.
Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and growing with the team is advantageous.
Results oriented with an agile mindset is advantageous.
Able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English Language with confidence.
