Job Description
As a Senior Driver in the Accident & Emergency department, you will engage in daily operations that involve transporting patients and responding to ambulance calls. You will ensure that company vehicles are maintained and ready for use, while also assisting in patient care during transfers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles with care and professionalism.
- Respond promptly to ambulance calls and maintain accurate records.
- Manage patient transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Provide basic nursing care and ensure patient safety during transport.
- Notify nursing leaders of any situations impacting care quality.
