Role Summary
The Senior Executive, Financial Reporting is responsible for supporting the management of the finance team across KPJ Group subsidiaries. This role ensures compliance with accounting regulations and enhances information flow to Group Finance, impacting the overall financial integrity of the organization.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day financial reporting activities, collaborating closely with various internal teams and auditors. You will be part of a dynamic finance team dedicated to maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounting papers to support financial reporting.
- Revise accounting policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Address accounting standards issues as they arise.
- Conduct training sessions for the finance team to enhance their skills.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Monitor compliance with IFRS/MFRS standards across subsidiaries.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years of audit working experience
Technical Accounting knowledge (i.e. IFRS/MFRS standards)
Strong communication skills
Ability to work closely with internal teams and auditors
